I am using 4 L brackets to suspend the plate. Two on each side(L+R) using the slot retainer nuts and then I will drill holes in the plate to secure it to the brackets. All the high voltage will be up high so it should minimize any potential interference. My 24v psu and stepper drivers are pretty big and take up a lot of real estate and I don't know if I could have found a spot for it down below.

Thanks Alan! I am mounting the laser psu on a steel plate above the electronics bay. I have seen others do this as well and it made the layout of everything so much easier.

Thanks Mike!
My base is 3/4 MDF and I am running the wires through the base and under. There is a nice space under there as long as you keep the wires secured to the underside. I ran my 24v power and ground through to the back side into two distribution blocks. I am also adding a panel with quick disconnects for the stepper motor drive cables.
The carbon fiber is actually an adhesive backed vinyl from 3M. I covered all my skins in this as well and will post more photos soon.

Barton had a run of several kits back in April or so. I bought the skins from ImprobableConstruct recently and he has two sets available now.
You can always download the drawings and find a local or internet based shop that can make the parts for you.

I would like to know what is the schematic system you used for your laser. I have purchased the dsp controller awc608 and 3 x M542T drivers for my stepper motors and do not have really clear the schematic system. I hope you are enjoying your laser
