how can I clean the laser tube from water gunk

hi all
I have used only destilled water for cooling my 40W CO2 tube but now I see inside the tube a braunish layer on the end
does somebody know how to remove it or if this makes no difference in output
every help is appriciated

I would pump clear water and a little bleach through it. Bleach is nice because it quickly evaporates. I have used the same water/anti freeze solution for years with no gunk. There might be products for cleaning out RV water systems.
