I believe both the front and rear are completely flat. If there is any curvature, it would be very very slight. You can hold the mirror up and look at a reflection of something in the distance. If it is a curved mirror, the opject will appear distorted. Either way, I would bet that both would work fine for mirrors. You may find that you can use the output coupler for your first reflection mirror and shine a red laser through it as a guide laser. I find the guide laser to be quite useful.
What chemical did you use to break down the epoxy?
