Hi maralb,

The front mirror is partially silvered (but probably >90%.)

The rear mirror is completely silvered. If you want to use one for a turning mirror, use the rear one.

I believe both the front and rear are completely flat. If there is any curvature, it would be very very slight. You can hold the mirror up and look at a reflection of something in the distance. If it is a curved mirror, the opject will appear distorted. Either way, I would bet that both would work fine for mirrors. You may find that you can use the output coupler for your first reflection mirror and shine a red laser through it as a guide laser. I find the guide laser to be quite useful.
What chemical did you use to break down the epoxy?

The full mirror usually has a curvature radius of about 5 meters. It might be hard to notice.

If my tube ever dies, I am going to try to make it into a flowing gas type tube, just for the fun of it.
