Wow that bike looks great, you must have next to no back lash on your setup. How tight are you running your belts, do they vibrate like a tight electric guitar string when plucked?

Greg, I also have a couple of questions for you.

What size extrusion are you running on your X?

Are you still happy with the tube and power supply?

The belts are not particularly tight. Nothing like a guitar string. If they were, it would be asking a lot of the stepper motor bearing.

The extrusion is 20 x 40 mm, ITEM brand, much the same as Misumi.

Yes no problems. I have nothing to compare it to. Seems good to me.

Appreciate the reply.

Looking into the Misumi extrusions now, they are substantially cheaper than 8020, which is what I have been using to build.
