If you have any tips or tricks I would love to hear about them

Your frame looks good!
Now is the time to do a couple of things:
1. Go though every slot and check to see if you have the correct amount of insertion nuts and verify that you know what those nuts are for. :)
2. Square up the frame. Use a good square and get it as close to perfect as you can. also make sure that your spacing between extrusions is the same all the way around.
A bit of precision now can save you a ton of frustration later.

Thank you

Thanks for the tip

I just got my skins from you yesterday and they are perfect! Thanks for the fast shipping and the great communication.

One thing I was a little confused on was the M5 T-slot nuts for the maker slide
I don't quite understand the orientation of where they go as there is two on the same location with different number

Any ideas?

In the makerslide I have:
0 top
2 left (bottom slot)
2 bottom
3 right (bottom slot)

Is this for both?

I'm still confused from the bottom and bottom slot
is the bottom slot your referring to the slot that faces the build area and that only has one slot?
Also are you referring to the left maker slide and the right one?

On the left hand makerslide, you need to mount the single slotted side facing the build area with the single slot on on the lower edge.
The left side will have two slots put the nuts in the lower slot.

I should have listed it like this
In the makerslide I have:
0 top
2 left (lower slot)
2 bottom
3 right (slot must be in the lower position)

Thanks for the info it helped out a lot

I'm at the point to where I need to square up the frame and I put up the bottom skin.

Should I start squaring it up to bottom skin that I purchased from you since it's dead on square
and square the vertical pieces with a carpenters level?

I used a variety of squares to get my frame square.
I used a big carpenters square where I could and some machinists squares for the smaller areas.
Getting the extrusions parallel and level is much harder than getting them square.
I would square the bottom first, then attach the skin to hold it square, then work up from there.

Whoa, thanks for this clarification as I too was totally confused by this......Even though there's a clear explanation in this thread of the intent I still go back to the drawing and wonder what the heck?
