There are no parts for the electronic items because there is no standard set of electronics. The power supply screws are usually M3 and sometimes M4. I heard the Keling P/S is M4.

Thanks Bart.

What hardware is supposed to attach the Y motor?

Discussion of that here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=560

I used (my own) M3x10 + #4 split lock washer. If you use the M3x8 pan head in the kit you probably have to skip the washer.

I assume you are reffering to the keeling 24 volt power supply? If so, I just installed that saturday. I went to Lowes and found the right ones. They are M4-0.70. I found that 20mm was perfect length. I got a washer undernieth it and nothing made any contact with components inside. You may be able to get away with an 18mm lenth, but those are hard to find. If you mean the laser power supply, I haven't gotten that far yet and they are all a little different depending on who you buy from.

Thanks,

Thanks dirktheeng, I'll go pick a bunch up. I assume I can use the same size for the PCB I'd just have to use longer ones.

The BOM shows that only 34 links of cable carrier are needed but that doesn't seem enough. Can anybody provide insight as to what I need to order for the X and Y cable carriers?

The recommended sizes for the cable carriers worked perfectly for me. The Y axis carrier is mounted near the middle of the run on the bottom skin. That allows it to be shorter since it only has to span a bit more than half of the y travel distance.

Good questions.

I picked a local distributor (Applied.com) but they drop-shipped from Wisconsin anyway. The literal part numbers they used were:

Code: Select all
KabelSchlepp Y   Applied.com   013215KR37X34FAMA   $22.15   1   $22.15
KabelSchlepp X   Applied.com   013210KR20X50FAMI   $29.74   1   $29.74   $9.57

I was able to get the cable carriers for $14 (Y-Axis) and $9 (X-Axis) each - from Motion Industries. If you're looking to save a few dollars, I can give you the number of the local branch, but I believe it's listed on their website.
