Does anyone have the actual B17055 M8 Nut Blocks for sale?

Can you use HDPE instead of Delrin if I have to make them?

I don't have any, but...

You can make them out of HDPE. They were originally tapped. Delrin taps better than HDPE. HPDE threads are very tight and would use up all the torque of the motor. The first batch from China were fine, the second batch were drilled at a slight angle. I reworked all of that batch to add metal inserts, drilled and arbor pressed in straight. All follow on batches used the insert. If I had started with the insert, I probably would have used HDPE.

Here is the M8 insert.

They are shipping me out an engineering sample of those press in nuts. They are not the easiest part to order for sure.

Looks like there are several EZ out type solutions available but at .6 long plus.

Doh, I have 3/8-12 lead screw not the M8 the nuts were for. Anyone need some of these inserts?
