For those looking for the metal parts for the 2.X laser:

I received my 2.X metal parts I had made for myself. The cutting is dead on within 0.001". The critical dimensions for the gantry bends came back .050"-.060" off at worst, .007" off at best. Overall, I think that they turned out pretty well and will work in the design.

If anyone wants me to source them these parts, let me know. With what I have paid, plus a little gas money, and a cut for Bart the price for the following would be $60 plus shipping. All are mill finish:

Left Gantry End
Right Gantry End
Lens Carriage Plate
Z Table Lift Plate (x4) (no pem nuts installed)

I bought a set from Rich and they are very well done. You'll have to sand/finish (they're mill finish). I had mine anodized in black and they look great and are made to spec (I'm still sore from pressing in the PEM nuts).
