I received an email this morning from Amazon regarding the launch of their new store AmazonSupply.com. It appears they bought smallparts.com, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, and I can't speak about the quality. Just an FYI.

I think Amazon bought SmallParts a while back. I used to use the SmallParts web site to find what I want and copy/paste the part number into the Amazon search to find it. It was much easier to find bolts and such on the SmallParts site, but with the Amazon Prime membership I would get 2 day free shipping free. McMaster Carr often has better prices and standard UPS ground gets to me in 2 days, got a box today, Monday, with springs and PTFE tube for my ORD bot after placing the order Friday night, shipping was $4.80. Guess it still pays to shop around.
