I have seen people that have built these. Surely they know where they got their parts?

The BOM shows where to get the off-the-shelf parts (Misumi, McMaster-Carr). If you read the blog entry linked from the description of the adapter, it says that the white plastic parts were 3-D printed at Ponoko. You have the STEP file, you should be good to go. The blue parts are machined out of 1/2" thick HDPE. There's a separate drawing of the blue parts, although you may want to check the STEP file to make sure they did not change since then. A Shapeoko owner could mill those for you out of a thick cutting board.

Do you know if there are other drawings available for the blue parts? The DWG only shows overall dimensions and no detail dimensions.

The rotational engraver printed parts have always been made at Shapeways. They need to be very accurate or you will see it on the engravings. I sold the last set a while ago, but I put the parts in a Shapeways "store"

The blue plastic parts are on the Wiki in STEP format. I will post some DXFs soon.

The drawing is a 1:1 DXF to import into your CAM program. There are a couple dimensions listed to make sure your import scaled correctly.
