I found one more set of 2.x Laser parts. This is the builders kit only. The parts it contains are listed here.

http://www.buildlog.net/cnc_laser/store ... _parts.php

This kit got lost in a mail a while ago and found it's way back to me after I sent a replacement. It also includes the Inventables acrylic sample kit and $25 kit certificate. The retail price was $205. I am going to have a silent auction for it. If you want it, just send me a PM with a bid. I am not trying to maximize profit, I am just trying to give fair access to everyone. I will donate the entire amount received to the chicago hackerspace Pumping Station One's fund to buy a Bridgeport Mill.

The shipping is on the buyer and typically is about $10-$15 for US and about $45 for international.

Post all questions here so everyone sees the answers. I will not answer questions about the current bid level.

Edit: A tie goes to the first bidder.

Well, let's make it the full retail price then ... $xxxx.

I'm just starting to scope out the project... not sure what my options will be if I don't win this.

So awesome. I thought I was sending that as a PM but then didn't see it in my sent messages list. Mystery solved: I'm an idiot. :P

SOLD!

We have a winner at $367.96. I will donate that to the PS1 HackerSpace.

FYI: Many auctions are run where the winner pays the second highest bid. That is how Google auctions its advertising. It adds a little game theory to the auction. It only works if everyone knows about it. In this case the winner would have only paid a few bucks less, but the bidding probably would have changed.

Bah! So close.

Bart, do you plan to make any more of these kits?

Bummer. If more parts aren't going to get made where does that leave us? I'm thinking plan B may be to redesign some parts to not require bends ... the biggest obstacle in my mind.
