Update Manual

Postby bdring » Sat Sep 24, 2011 8:07 pm

Jason sent me the latest Thunder Laser DSP setup documentation. It explains a few mystery features like the foot switch and an output to control exhaust and/or assist air. I will probably incorporate relay drivers into a new new PCB I am working on for the assist air and exhaust.

Sorry, I had updated the existing link on the Wiki. I should have been more clear on that.

I added (Wiring Manual) to the link text now.

I took a look at the air assist / blower section where they recommend a board with relays.

The one thing that I am wondering is what that is hooked up to on the DSP... I didn't see anything except for the HL and LL output for the laser that change when the laser fires.

What is supposed to trigger this board / relay?

I think the terminal marked wind on the diagram below
Image
Connects to terminal 3 on the I/O plug called "blow air" in the manual

Mine is marked in chinese and translates to blow air according to google

The connection table also has a clue.
