I'm not real confident that the PM was sent so I'll summarize here because I think others are probable interested too.

What all are you planning on including in the ±$90 price tag?

Are you thinking of parts like the original BOM (shell, 4 motors, etc.)? or more parts? less?

No, this is just for all the machined aluminum parts.

Does that include the wheel carriage plates?
Do you have a total list of parts this includes? I see the original post mentioned bolts, etc.

All the blue parts on the right-hand machine:

They will be a "sanded aluminum" finish though - not anodized. The extruder carriage will be bent.

Hi all; at our next club meeting, we are finishing this process and will be placing the order by the end of this week. We are doing bulk orders both for the laser cutting/bending as well as the Misumi and McMaster parts. This won't get your a turn-key kit but if you are looking to build yourself, it will give you most of the way there and take care of all the bulk parts/hard-to-source stuff. If you want in and haven't PM'd me already, now's the time! Thanks!

Ok, our group buy meeting was a big hit. Here is what we are getting laser cut:

We are placing the order tomorrow. The final price will be $75/set + shipping. This includes the feet too, which is a nice addition. Some of you have already committed at the higher price and messaged me privately, we are assuming you people are still in at the cheaper price :). We can take credit cards over the phone for payment via a local science shop that manages our club finances or we can take Paypal if you prefer. If you've not already PM'd me your interest, now is the time. Those that have already PM'd, I'll be reaching out today with payment options so we can work it out. We've already collected money from many of our club members so this group is the last to buy in.

We are also doing a group buy for the Misumi and McMaster bulk parts. It will be $40+shipping. This includes nuts, bolts, wire, spacers, and t-slot nuts. The idea behind this is that we will buy the box set parts and split em up for people and then they can order the larger or one-off pieces from Misumi and McMaster still. This does NOT replace the need to order from those guys directly, just keeps you from buying a huge number of parts you don't need for a Hadron. The initial bulk order for these will be on Friday as well so PM me to get in on it. Thanks!

it may be too late, but I found with my Hadron that if the carraige/extruder plate had a few extra holes near the edges, it would make fan mounting a lot easier.

Not too late - where would the holes be? Thanks!

Just the 2 outboard holes mirrored over, I made red dots to indicate them.

Also, having mounting hole patterns in the handle for the Azteeg X3 and X1 would have helped me a lot during my build.
