Test prints
Because my printer is not printing very well -- cruddy -- compared to others I've seen
I want to solve the problems and understand the parameters in slic3r and RH
I suggest that you concentrate on printing the
single-wall object according to the instructions in the
slic3r calibration wiki and get it to come out well with the correct extruded filament width before trying to print anything else. This instructions assume that you have the correct x, y, z and e steps per mm in the firmware and you have entered the feed diameter into slic3r with a starting value for extrusion multiplier of 1. Note that e steps per mm doesn't have to be exact. It can be within 1% or so and it will still be fine since the extrusion multiplier basically adjusts for this.
