Error message in proterface

So everything was going well ; I was going to start the calibration process and yet another obstacle
I get an error;
"extruder switched off. MINTEMP triggered!
Error printer stoped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart!
(Temperature is reset. Set it before restarting)
Now my bed nor my extruder turn on...,,

Loose connection to extruder thermistor. The FW sees an impossibly low temp and refuses to keep going because it suspects it can't actually see the result of heating the extruder.
