Where can get a extension spring for leading cables ?

Hi,

can anyone help me with that little "problem" ?
I can`t find aby information about that extension spring .

What parameters will be optimal for ordbot application ?

1. Min load ?
2. Diameter ?

For the bed wiring I used a 15mm "plumbing spring" - the tool used for bending copper tube. It looks like stainless and has a nice finish. They are dirt cheap on Ebay. I printed a couple of clamps.
For the x carriage, I had a lighter 8mm stainless spring specially made up, following a suggestion on here. Relatively expensive though. I used a UK company. http://www.testedspring.co.uk/home.asp

Apparently, that type of spring is commonly available in hardware stores in the US. It's used to keep screen doors closed, so you can imagine it can't cost more than a few dollars. Haven't seen any around here (UK), unfortunately -- only larger versions used for cattle gates and the like.
