Hello all, I am trying to engrave faces on black granite. If anyone has succeeded in doing this sort of engraving, would you please send a file over to me so that I can try and run it. I need something about 2 by 2 inches. If the file works on your machine it should work on mine too, after I set up my machine properly the way yours is set. So far I've never been able to engrave although the hardware is supposed to be capable of doing it. Whenever I attempt engraving the laser current jumps up to 22 MA which will shorten the life of the laser tube, so it has to be controlled somehow. There's no detail in the workpiece, the whole scan is burnt evenly, so the laser power supply is not getting the signal due to faulty wiring or the controller isn't configured properly.
