I recently installed a new laser tube in the Laser 2x. Had some issues with the old tube fitting trough the mounts. Ended up notching the mounts to allow the tube water fittings to pass through.

I just put in a new tube and it fit fine, but I will add a notch to the design and phase it in.

The notch was only necessary for removing the old one which had originally been installed tail first. I didn't want to move my mirror mount, so went out the other way and discovered the tube wouldn't fit. It was easy to correct. The new tube would not have had an issue. Guess they are all different.

Was that the old tube in the pictures? Looks like that crappy surgical tubing that I had on my first laser. It dried up and cracked open and sprayed my electronics. Now I only use Tygon.
