EMC2 comes with one called image-to-gcode. I think the problem you'll have is that Mach3 will want to stop between each engraving segment. The reason I wrote custom code for EMC2 was that none of my attempts to generate gcode resulted in smooth/continuous sweeps back and forth. By sweeping the head in a single X move and modulating the laser separately I can avoid all the start/stop.

What about dotg? I used it in Hungarian for a long awhile and always with a router, but it should work for you and now its in English too.

I know a few hungarians that make it work wIth their lasers. I'll get the info from them and get back to you.

Guys here is a sample done with dot g and laser.

Go here and read this page(dot g info on bottome half) and contact Tweakie if you have to. He really has this down and he even tossed a laser on his router cnc and it works great:

Okay go here: http://www.cooperman.talktalk.net/index.htm

then click :new laser prioject " on the fight , then click on page 4 on top.

Tweakies' site is the bomb and he shares everything. I just do not have time to figure it out myself right now, twins home sick.

SOMEONE PLEASE TEST THIS LINK ABOVE, ITS GIVING ME TROUBLE. IF IT WORKS FINE, IF NOT LET ME KNOW.

These are images off the Tweakie cnc site, they are not mine and belong to him.

The link to the page for the Dotg laser use is this : http://www.cooperman.talktalk.net/files ... age867.htm

For what ever reason linking from the build log site to his site seems to jumble up the Tweakie web site, when I go there direct from firefox it works fine.

The bottom of page 4 should look like this "bottom of page tweakie":

If Tweakie wants this off the site I'll gladly pull it, its his info.

I suggest going through his whole site, its sweet.
