Standard Wheel Carriage Plate and Buildlog laser

Has anyone worked out how to use the Standard Wheel Carriage Plate in a buildlog laser system? I think I can figure it out but I prefer something that is already troubleshot :D .

Are you wanting to use it for the lens carrier? If so there are plates available on the Makerslide store just for that purpose http://store.makerslide.com/index.php?m ... ucts_id=13 It's just a few dollars more than the standard wheel carriage plate and comes pre-drilled for the lens and also has the threaded inserts already pressed in. The standard plate is a little larger but has holes in the right place for the v-wheels, you would have to open up a large hole for the lens and a few smaller ones to fasten it on. Nothing you couldn't handle with a router and a drill.

For some reason I thought store.makerslide and inventables were affiliated with one another and carried the same parts. Thanks for pointing that out. It is definatley worth the money.
