Where to buy Hardon Z block

Postby syldcru » Sat Jul 06, 2013 1:27 pm

Where can I purchase the Hardon Z block, MXL Belt 1/4 Wide 388 Tooth, MXL Belt 1/4 Wide 475 Tooth, Belt Clamp and the threaded Rod M8 x 1.25 x 245mm. These are the last items needed before I can start my build and I cannot wait to start since its my birthday gift to myself.

I am confused about the belts, The BOM said one belt is MXL Belt 1/4 Wide 388 Tooth and the other is MXL Belt 1/4 Wide 475 Tooth. Is that the tooth size or the number of tooth on the belt for the size that is needed?

Here is a printed belt clamp. Buying endless belt is a cheaper than buying the call for belts.
You'll need just under 6 feet of belt to do both axis on the Hadron.
McMaster Carr also has MXL endless belting also.

Hope this helps

Here is the stl file for the printed clamp like that in the photo.

Tank you for all the information!! I decided to go with the Budaschnozzle 2.0 w/ 0.35mm nozzle and the EZStruder Cold End Kit. I think they will work together

I didn't see this answered, sorry if it's a duplicate. That is the number of teeth. Both belts are identical except for the number of teeth and consequently the length.
