They're not connected when the 3-D printer is connected -- I was just giving examples of USB devices that seem to keep working for days on the same computer plugged into the same power strip, as opposed to the 3-D printer, which keeps losing its connection.

I don't have anything else plugged into the USB of the PC. Once it locks up, the only way to get it back is to power down the printer, unplug the USB so the arduino will die, power back up, and re-connect.

I recently received a long awaited Makergear M2 factory assembled. It is controlled with a Rambo. I haven't used it a lot yet, but have done some overnight prints with the same PC and USB connection. It has never locked up.

I am kind of wondering if some of the circuits are susceptible to Emil from the stepper motor pulses.
