Anyone seen this or following it?

Their machine is a lot bigger (24" x 48") but way more expensive about $5k DIY! Seems like the fundamental design is the same...

It's interesting. I've heard that large scale lasers are a pain in the ass to align. Anyone have any experience with larger lasers?

They are using an arduino as a controller. No thanks.

I have aligned a 36x48 laser. Not bad. Took about 2 hours from the tube to the nozzle. After i was done it could cut 1-1/4 acrylic with 80w. Alignment can make a big difference.
