Here is a video of it printing the item from the previous post at 250mm/sec. I like the speed of the perimeters. That's cool. This is running on Marlin. It took a few tries to tune it up right. I am sure it could go faster and still feed right.

Looks good. Try splicing in some slower gcode for the top section. That should help.

Nice vid indeed, I would love to see more of the ORD in action.

Orcinus, I am quite sure it's still the makergear stepper plastruder.

Bart, will you be giving any directions for the logo, because so far there weren't any guidelines, nor much feedback on the logos we created so far. What's your opinion about creating a single logo for the ORD bot instead of 2 separate ones?

More vids, please!
The last printed logo resembles a crescent, though not accompanied by a star but by a sphere :) . More crescents in wikipedia

My vote for the logo.

I am leaning towards this logo.

I does a good job in the areas I want. I has the quantum physics look, it looks good as an icon and it looks pretty cool printed.

One of the proposed alternative logos is similar to this. The nick name matches too.

I am interested in your thoughts about these.

I love these.
They sorta remind me of the way quarks that make up a hadron are usually illustrated:
