MXL or GT2 for a new machine

Hello guys,

I have just started my 2.X laser - I am going to build the default machine with 40-50W tube.

Got 20 teeth MXL pulleys and belt from Inventables, but I was reading some posts stating that GT2 is better then MXL . . . Since I have just started and can change the setup with minimal cost loss.

So my question is - From your experience, taking to account all the pro's and con's to date what would you suggest for a new machine: MXL or GT2 ?
