Anyone come across a fixing plate for a Dremel 3000?. So that it can be fixed vertically.

Take a look at project Shaopeoko.
The Dremel or Dremel knockoffs are the standard spindle.
There are a few different ways to mount it.
Have a look in the forums and wiki.

Couldnt seem to find anywhere on shapeoko ref the Dremel 3000
End on its isnt round and was wondering whats best to mount it vertical (needs to be pretty accurately mounted).
Suppose I could try create a moulding around it with that model making plastic (softens easily) ... then cut a steel template after.

Unscrew the collar at the front, insert through an aluminum plate, screw back on. That's at least 50% of the way there and gives you a baseline reference for everything else. You might also disassemble it and see if there's something you can do to drill through or cut a slot in for more rigid mounting.
