Where have people sourced 2.X cover windows for CO2 lasers? That is one of the remaining items without a source listed in the new
BOM. I assume people want something that filters 10,600nm light instead of just relying on safety glasses.
Cheapest I found:
24"x36" for $225
http://www.lasersafetyindustries.com/Laser_Safety_Window_400_008_for_CO2_Laser_Systems_p/400_008.htmOD 6+ @ 10,000-11,000 nm
Also, do I need to worry about the 9,400nm light band? The
laser I bought only lists the 10,600nm band, but Wikipedia mentions the 9,400nm band. I don't know if that band applies to all CO2 lasers.
