I send skins in a custom fabricated wooden and cardboard crate for not much more than that.

Yeah, when I spent $50+shipping for the cable carriers I was really thinking they were a poor value compared to other parts of the kit, but they are nice cable carriers.

Yeah, I tried to place an order, even with the exact item number they told me I have to contact a distributor, of course their distributors are for the whole company, and not a single one within 25 miles of me sells the cable guides. I can get auto parts, and glues and all kinds of other bits and pieces though. I definitely wouldn't mind it being part of a kit or available seperately.

You can use the same distributor I did (it's listed above). I chose them because they were local but it hardly mattered: They drop-shipped from the midwest. The best reason to choose them is that they've done the ordering process now (when I had called they had just had a visit from a rep and gotten an introduction) so it should be more streamlined.
