Azteeg Header Strips

I have the Azteeg X3 controller and it has lots of wiring opportunitys, but it does not come with the necessary header pin strip things.
I contacted Azteeg to get information on this to no avail.
Does anyone have a source for these pin strips and the female pigtails that mate with them?

I tried Molex.com, but they have about 3 trillion versions of about 12 million configurations (exaggeration implied).
I'm not aware of the pin spacing/pitch etc which makes purchasing them even harder.
My local radio shack and Frys had NOTHING. Sigh.

goto digikey, search for headers - rectangular, male pins - single row - 0.1in [2.54mm] pitch. if you want the cuttable type, look for "breakable" or "break-away"

What he said - as an FYI, Frys in Houston usually has 'em in stock along with the 100's of bits of molex connectors and pins.

They are supposed to come with the X3. There are various options, but the default is the header strips.

Send him an email or PM through the forum. Like me, he also has a another full time job, so he cannot always respond right away.

Hi nixtacy,

I remember reading your email from my phone but kinda fell off the radar and didnt get to reply. Any way you can find them at Fry's, I bought some from them before. They are actually cheaper than digikey.

Thanks Mr. Co (roy...co?) :)
Not quite what I was hoping for....well, it is, but it's not.

So my local Frys has a problem. They stock their shelves one time, and then never refill them. They have been in business in this location for 10 years problably,...maybe 15. The parts bin area is just so empty, it's pathetic. They really never restock it. They don't even have common hook up wire (at all), and for reals, cause I'm just gangster enough to check it out. Twice.

So I spent a good two hours surfing the net, until I came across the pin/header bit on ebay. From that I got a starting part number, and go back to the Molex website and sort out their catalogs and find what I ... sort of.... wanted.

I will be placing an order with Digikey or Mouser for;
2x 22-28-4360 (36 break away pins)
20x 50-57-9002 (2 pin female bodies)
40x 16-02-0088 (female pin sockets)
for about $20. and building what I need. Way out of my intended budget, but I'm not going to let it keep me down.

Bash/Ban me if you like...once I wrap my head around doing something, .... yea, I'm stubborn.

I have a pre made cable that might work for you. Its 2x3 female header on one end and 6 individual female sockets on the other. 24 inches in length. I was going to use it for the Viki LCD but was too short.
