Over couple dozen emails Jeremy and I have designed possibly the worlds smallest delta printer. We are going to try to fab, assemble and test it in one evening.
The goal was for it to be smaller than the Up Mini or Tantalus printers. Here is a rendering with a pop can rendered on top for size reference. The size is 230mm x 230mm x 320mm.
The bed is 100mm diameter. The extruder (MakerGear) is stationary and the bed moves. It is intended for PLA only. It uses NEMA14 motors and an X1 controller. Not counting hardware or electronics, it only has about 20 unique parts.
If anyone in the area wants to help, come to PS1 on Thursday night. This is just for the fun of the build and not meant to be a practical machine.
