Laser build video and other questions

New here
1.I am considering a build for this laser. I have seen some videos by tim Weir (sorry if spelling is off) about the Vrails and a few others but is there a "from the ground up" resource showing each phase of the build anywhere? I have read through the instructions a few times, but a visual how to would be immensely helpful

I am also curious if anyone who has built the laser to fully incorporate the z axis has had the opportunity to work on etching any anodized aluminum paintball gun bodies. Can Mach 3 handle surfaces like that? This would be the main application I am looking into at the moment.
This would be a small example of the paintball bodies that I would be attempting to mark.

I've seen others marking paintball gun bodies. Pretty sure they're just shooting the artwork flat on them and not following the shape. I'd recommend trying that with a 5" focal lens.
