Where to order Makerslide?

Postby DeweyOxberger » Thu May 03, 2012 3:20 am

It's May 2, 2012.

Makerslide looks great. I'm chomping at the bit to get some. I found it on Kickstarter. Funded a long time ago - awesome.

I found it on Inventables. I just missed the order window - not so awesome.

I found it on store.makerslide.com. Zero stock and been that way for a while - dang.

:o

Anybody else have it?

I signed up for Inventables notification and signed up for makerslides newsletter. I guess I just wait...

Inventables has stated they plan to do another run of Makerslide extrusion in the future. No idea on timeline.

Inventables has a email alert notification for the next pre-order of makerslide.

https://www.inventables.com/technologies/makerslide

Since they are taking orders for the Hadron ORD bot,
they will have to order some more makerslide at some point,
and may open the makerslide pre-order then.

Edit: Of course as of 5/5/2012 with 25 days remaining, there are only 8 of the required 100 Hadron pre-orders ...

We'll most likely know more once the first batch starts to roll out in the coming weeks. The lead time for aluminum extrusions is a bit long, and I believe there's some question over what lengths can be shipped internationally, but these are solvable issues.

I'm optimistic.
