Hadron Z Axis Calibration and Backlash

I switched to an 8mm leadscrew to make system all metric per multiple requests. I recalculated the resolution. I wanted to verify the resolution and check the backlash of the screw and nut. Here is a video of a few 1mm Z moves. 1mm = 0.03937 inch. The weight of the gantry probably cancels all backlash.

Edit: Ignore the first move. I went the wrong way and the dial gauge left the surface.

Yeah, I would call that repeatable, not to mention accurate in excess (if there is such a thing). I look forward to seeing the hadron tonight at PS: One!
