And when I finally got around to patiently considering all the possibilties I found that the Y-axis motor pulley didn't have a set screw.

Okay, had a spare 18 tooth pulley so used that (for some reason the set screw from the latter wouldn't fit). I'm thinking that if I have to have a mis-match, it's beter to have the lower count pulley on the Y-axis for more torque --- is that reasonable?

I might have missed it somewhere, but are you running MXL or GT2 belts/pulleys.

I just swapped over to GT2, and I'll Mail you my old MXL pulleys if you need them.

Thanks!

Using MXL but planning to switch to GT2 eventually, fortunately had a spare.

If you want them, just PM your address and I'll drop them in the mail next time I'm near the post office.

Well, haven't switched to GT2 yet, but have switched to a V2 Azteeg X5 mini paired w/a V2 Viki LCD.

Nice, and very convenient, esp. w/ using a tablet w/ a micro SD card.

Need to puzzle out why I can't control the fan on pin 2.4 and print a case for the LCD then it'll be time for a full tear down and rebuild.
