What do you recommend for 2D design software that is affordable ?
I have mach3 and cut2d and have been using inkscape to and draw objects to cut on my diy mini router and when I have finished building it my 2.x laser
But inkscape keeps changing the dimensions of my parts

I've used Illustrator with my CNC router with good results, but Corel has the advantage of being able to print using DSP if you want to go that route.

Google Sketchup combined with Phlatboyz plug-in works great on my CNC mills.

Very easy and it's free!
