I'm curious to see if one of the new pico projectors would have the right light wavelength output. They are very small (they will fit in a pocket) and have an image size of 6" to 60".
That would be great if it worked, but sadly the pocket projectors are LED based, with maybe a few laser diode based ones out there, and the wavelengths, at least for the UV resin wouldn't be there. They use DLP with mercury / metal halide lamps because once the UV filter in the projector is pulled they have lots of UV. Somewhere there's a graph of the amount of UV possible, and it's equivalent to outside (Sun Light), which is what's needed to get the quick ~1 second cure time.
Also the pocket projectors are usually resolution challenged, which would limit your build envelope for highly detailed builds.
