ORDuino

Postby bdring » Sun May 20, 2012 11:19 pm

I displayed the ORDuino at Maker Faire. I had about 60 flyers and 59 of them went in the first day. I keep one to show other people, but here is a PDF.

Thanks Bart!! :D :D :D
Now that you've probably set up a stampede of customers to come check it out,
I finally got a "live" web page published, thought there isn't much there yet, other than the same flyer.
I'm planning to start developing the user documentation for ORDuino + Lava right here on the Buildlog wiki first, and it will stay here for the foreseeable future;
I'm not too impressed with how limiting and difficult it is to put together a functional site where i have it now,
though in theory they do support a blog and shopping cart so i will try to get both those features going over the next week or so.

Hey frob,

Any chance you could piece together a Hadron kit

Would imagine it would contain some or all of
- Orduino
- Lava Heatbed
- heatbed standoffs and springs
- the rest of the bits for the build plate
- endstop switches
- Wiring loom with end connectors that can be run through the makerslide
- some form of cable tidy / management
and options for adding an appropriate psu and lcd + endcoder wheel on the bundle

At this stage just looking at pricing for a build date in September / October, have already ordered the automation technologies build platform kit and an extruder / hotend, not sure how many others are looking for a similar bundle but don't think I'm Robinson Crusoe on this.

Nope. You're not. I'm eagerly waiting on news about pricing and availability as well. I seem to recall being promised something "in a few weeks" a few weeks ago now... (Nudge) :)

Mark me down for one of these packages too if it ever materialises!

Awesome idea for those of us who have the mechanical platform on the way.
