Hi Tweakie, with that type of controller the pilots??
to need power supply external?

Maralb,

The external power supply has to be 30Vdc at 14A. (it is already on order)
Not sure about the controller yet as I haven't finally decided on the application but I am also waiting for Bart's test results of the Retna Engrave board viewtopic.php?f=6&t=270 as this could be really useful.

I use Mach at present and can therefore output the PWM direct with a separate gate just to switch the tickle pulse.
If Bart finds the Retna OK then my options change and I will consider a dedicated DSP.
Alternately I may just build my own PWM with a manual 0 - 100% power adjust which is then Mach triggered like my existing system.
It's early days yet.

Nice. What kind of power out?

I have been keeping my eye on CO2s on ebay but most have been too small, ~25watt max.
