I'm running 3 printers now round the clock doing builds (PLA) for a beta test for my startup and the fumes are getting to be an issue. The windows are kind of far, so I would prefer to design a stand-alone fume remediation system for each printer.
I'm thinking of combining this design (
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18483) with this sort of fume catcher (
http://www.grassrootsengineering.com/blog/mymachine/) driven by a 120mm fan (
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-120 ... =120mm+fan) on each bot.
I figured I'd ask for suggestions here before I got down to it as you guys have been playing with printers and laser cutters much longer than I have and would likely have useful suggestions.
I'm also planning on putting the solidworks files into GIT once I have them so that it will be easier to collaborate and follow development.
Thanks!
