Did anyone encounter any issues with their filaments ?
Where did you buy your filaments ? Anything you are looking for ? price ? quality ? brand ?

We have never had any issues with our filaments, as my family only uses the absolute best imported Peruvian filaments.
The agents we buy from only deals in 100% Peruvian made PLA, ABS and Nylon filaments that are vacuum sealed and individually packed on the incontentinents that they are manufactured. The manufacturers also have eggceptional controls of Bubbles, Diameters, Roundness, Colour, Flavour, Melting point, and Mr Rockwells Hardness.

Can you tell us what a "Drop test" entails, and what feature that may entail?
Also, can you comment the same for Lucky Mr Rockwells Hardness? I have yet to print a Class IV trailer hitch.

Your filaments sound pretty good.
Did you see any steam or hear any popping sound during extrusion?

I am unsure regarding the specifications of your filaments, so I have no comment on them.

Here are the BotFeeder Filaments Specifications:
Diameter: 1.75 mm +/- 0.05 mm or 3.00 mm +/- 0.05 mm
Roundness: 1.75 mm +/- 0.05 mm or 3.00 mm +/- 0.05 mm
Bubbles / Moisture Controlled
Colour: Pantone Colour (custom colour available)
Rockwell Hardness: R108
Tensile Strength
Flexural Strength
izod impact

Drop Test:
We noticed the spool is very fragile, so enhancement has been made to BotFeeder's Spool.

1) 1kg of filaments wrapped onto the spool.
2) 1 meter drop onto concrete floor
3) repeats it 5 times

Did you intend to disclose values for tensile and flexural strengths?

What is an izod impact? (The wow factor for a shirt popular in the 80's?)

Izod is the how much compressed strength it can take before breaking.

Impact strength test. Good writeup about it in Makezine:

Thank You for the article!!!
It is very helpful to understand the a) stiffness, b) impact strength, and c) comparison of different type of plastic.

As the article mentioned, there are many type of plastic. But how do you know what grade is your filament ??
For experts, they are able to distinguish by touch, visual, and the scent when burning the plastic.
For others, you can perform a small test on the filaments.
1) You can bend the filament back and forth until it breaks
2) feel the smoothness of the filament
Let me find out more tests you can perform on the filaments.

Happy Printing !!

Filament issue? None so far. My spools of ABS and PLA filaments are high quality. Nothing bothers me about printing in climatically-challenged environment and/or when I do some experiment. BTW, I ordered 3D printing filaments at 3d2print.

Miguel, you haven't posted a single piece of information that's not a shameless advertisement for your company. Not a single idea, a thought, musing, piece of advise, opinion, not even a joke. After the 3rd advertisement posting, it became obvious and easy to find the others. Shameless.
